CALAMBA, Laguna—The CALABARZON Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB 4A) announces an increase of up to P45 for minimum wage earners in the region, equivalent to P1,170 per month, effective October 26, 2026.

RTWPB 4A and the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC)—composed of members from labor unions, employer groups, and the government—approved the new rates under a tripartite mechanism. The decision followed a thorough review and evaluation of the region’s existing socio-economic conditions, as mandated by Republic Act 6727, or the Wage Rationalization Act.

Under Wage Order No. IVA (CALABARZON)-23, daily wage adjustments will vary across the region depending on the industry sector and municipality classification. Specific wage rates per sector and municipal category are detailed in the official copy of the wage order.

According to the National Wages and Productivity Commission, more than 1.56 million minimum wage earners across CALABARZON are set to benefit from the hike.

Secretary Francis N. Tolentino assures that the Department, through its Regional Office No. 4A, will closely monitor implementation to ensure strict compliance among establishments and keep wage policies effective across the region.
