CITY OF DASMARIÑAS, Cavite (PIA) — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Cavite, together with the Provincial Government of Cavite and the City Government of Dasmariñas, recently launched the OTOP (One Town, One Product) Next Gen Trade Fair and Exhibit 2025 at SM City Dasmariñas, showcasing local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
Themed “Showcasing Cavite’s Homegrown Excellence,” the event brings together a diverse array of products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the province.
The trade fair is a joint effort between DTI Cavite, the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives and Development Officer (OPCDO), and the Dasmariñas City Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO).
Running until October 10, 2025, the exhibit invites the public to experience Cavite’s best offerings across categories such as food delicacies, smoked and marinated delights, spreads and snacks, health and wellness, coffee creations, arts, crafts and lifestyle, and pet products.
The opening ceremony was attended by key provincial and city leaders, including Cavite Governor Francisco Gabriel “Abeng” D. Remulla, Board Members Nickol Austria Jr. and Jun Dela Cuesta, Dasmariñas Vice Mayor Elpidio “Third” A. Barzaga III, members of the City Council, SM City Dasmariñas Assistant Mall Manager Charles L. Yap, and DTI Cavite Business Development Division Chief Rebecca S. Tarasona. Their presence signaled unified support for local enterprises and ongoing efforts to drive economic growth in the region.
The OTOP Next Gen program is a flagship initiative of the DTI that enhances the competitiveness of local products and supports innovation among Filipino entrepreneurs. (RBF/DTI-Cavite)
