In its continuing mission to provide convenience to members and pensioners in availing government insurance services, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Laguna has officially opened its new GSIS Service Desk in Calamba City, Laguna on Monday, December 15.
The newly opened service desk located at Lower Ground of Calamba City Hall aims to bring GSIS programs and services closer to public sector employees and retirees in Calamba and nearby cities and municipalities, reducing travel time and ensuring faster, more convenient transactions.
Among the services offered are inquiries and processing related to membership records, loan applications, retirement and separation benefits, survivorship benefits, and pension-related concerns.
GSIS Executive Vice President Atty. Jason C. Teng emphasized that the establishment of the service desk is part of the agencyβs commitment to improving accessibility and service delivery, particularly for pensioners who may find it difficult to travel to their provincial office located in Pagsanjan, Laguna.
Calamba City Mayor Roseller Rizal then welcomed the initiative, noting that the presence of a GSIS service desk in Calabarzonβs regional center strengthens collaboration between national government agencies and local government units, while also ensuring that public servants receive timely and efficient support.
The GSIS Service Desk in Calamba City is expected to serve more than 25,000 members and 9,000 pensioners around Metro Laguna reinforcing GSISβ mandate of βGinhawa for Allβ under the Bagong Pilipinas governance agenda of President Ferdinand R.
